Primary Focus

The Desktop Analyst Provide day-to-day operational service and support for defined desktop services, solving complex hardware and software issues with a focus on clients Microsoft environment. Respond to and resolve user issues and support upgrades and patches to maintain a security environment. All duties and responsibilities performed in accordance with the Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve issues focusing on the Microsoft environment and AWS

  • Support Service Desk and other members of the Desktop support team

  • Document SOPs and Knowledge Base articles

  • Monitor MS alerts and assist with M365 upgrades and security patches

  • Creation and deployment of application packages (SCCM, Intune).

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or 8 years of equivalent work experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical training in Computer Science, Information Systems Management preferred.

  • 3-5 years’ experience working as a Senior Desktop Support analyst in an enterprise environment support > 1,000 users

  • Certifications in Microsoft and AWS is a plus.

  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills:

  • Excellent communication and customer facing skills

  • Strong administration skills in Intune, Autopilot, SCCM (MECM)

  • Application packaging and deployment (SCCM, Intune)

  • Patching with Windows Update for Business,

  • PowerShell scripting

  • AWS Workspaces and AppStream

  • Terraform and Harness experience would be a plus.

  • Proven expertise in providing superior and dynamic service in Operating System image building and maintenance

  • Superior technical knowledge, with experience in multiple aspects of client-computing services

  • Experience working collaboratively with suppliers and third-party vendors

  • Ability to quickly analyze a situation and react appropriately and effectively

  • Effective prioritization skills

  • Drive and enthusiasm

  • Self-starter

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.

Working Conditions

  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties while standing for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.

  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.

  • May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.

  • May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.
