Primary Focus

Provide overarching integration and facilitation support for future Army National Guard (ARNG) Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) professional development training programs to ensure they are well synchronized with known and projected requirements. The complexity of this task is such that assistance is required in executing the coordination of activities that will be required to bring all the task/initiatives together and deliver solutions that deliver improved individual training effectiveness and a greater throughput of trained NCOs. This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

The TRADOC Team Officer/NCO Education Analyst will provide the following support:

  • Provide recommendations to the ARNG-TRI Plans and Programs Team Chief and staff on matters relating to the Non-Commissioned Officer Education System (NCOES)

  • Develop guideline recommendations for the formulation of future policies, plans, and programs to ensure effective utilization of the Full-Time ARNG Non-Commissioned Officer Academies

  • Conduct courseware reviews of all NCOES Total Army Training System (TATS) courses, to include technical phases that are applicable to ARNG Soldiers

  • Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of resource requirements for future NCOES training

  • Work closely with ARNG Subject Matter Experts (SME) Cells to ensure future NCOES course materials are compatible with training in a Reserve Component Institution

  • Prepare and provide quantitative and qualitative analysis and recommendations on current and future NCOES training backlogs

  • Coordinate with the ARNG Senior Guard Advisors at proponents and ARNG SME Cells to ensure Critical Task Site Selection Board (CTSSB) requirements are met for all Career Management Field (CMF)'s. Analyze and review new/revised Program of instruction (POI)s and provide input to staffing

  • Provide monthly data on status, throughput and density of NCOES training

  • Collect, review, analyze and distribute NCOES Backlog reports received from States, ARNG Directorates and other agencies and prepare state reports quarterly

  • Identify emerging NCOES requirements and Total Army School System (TASS) Transformation related issues

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

  • At least fifteen (15) years’ experience in the following:

  • Army Training Management, ATRRS, AFAM, ITRIM; Data Analysis; NCO Education System

  • Preparation of briefing materials and providing Senior Leader briefings

  • Active Secret clearance

  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills:

  • Must possess problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written

  • Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.

  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.

  • Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.

  • Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.

  • Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

  • Professional office environment

  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods of time. Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.

  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.

  • Must be able to work varying work schedules and/or extended hours to meet business needs and project deadlines.

  • May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.

Pay Range

USD $80,000.00 - USD $84,000.00 /Yr.
